I graduated from ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾ with a double major in Journalism and Communications and Public Policy. As Canada’s only public university primarily dedicated to the liberal arts, ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾ helped me gain a diversity of knowledge. I took courses outside of my comfort zone, which challenged me and helped me develop better critical thinking skills.

I am a recent ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾ graduate with a Bachelor of Arts, with majors in psychology and criminology. I took advantage of a variety of other courses as well, as all ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾dents are encouraged to explore different disciplines and challenge their perspectives. We pride ourselves in helping ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾dents become well-rounded, thoughtful, and critical thinkers.

I graduated from ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾ with majors in Criminology and Psychology. As a ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾dent, I explored many courses outside of my majors, including fine arts and history, which allowed me to enjoy the wide array of options here. The small class sizes and passionate faculty made for fun and engaging classes that encouraged deep learning and personal growth.

I completed both a BA and BEd at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾. Coming to university from a small town of 900 people was intimidating, but ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾ welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like a part of the community. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøվ’s small class sizes allowed my professors to get to know me and made it easier to connect with my peers and form friendships that I still have today.

At ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾, you’re encouraged to explore a variety of disciplines. I completed a BA with a major in Gerontology and minors in Psychology and Communications & Public Policy, while also taking courses in areas like English, Sociology, and Human Rights. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøվ’s diverse academic offerings provide a well-rounded education, and I took full advantage!

I came to ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøÕ¾ as an international student from South Africa and graduated with a double major in Human Rights and Criminology and Criminal Justice. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýÍøվ’s small class sizes allowed me to learn from my peers and foster connections with my professors who I have stayed in touch with after graduation.
